Bold Tech was founded in 2020 to serve a growing interest in internal tools built faster on developer platforms. Since then, we have built over 250+ apps for all kinds of clients and industries. Our technical team has a background in internal tooling and adjacent services and specializes in building performant internal apps with optimized UX/UI.
Joey was one of the first in the Retool Developers Network and is one of the leading app developers as recommended by Retool. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking up the local mountains, podcasts, reading & sharing his love for tech with those willing (or unwilling) to listen.
Sophie is in charge of tutorials and blogs at Bold Tech. She's a keen traveler, multilinguist, and nature lover who spends most of her time outdoors. In her spare time, she can be found cooking intricate new recipes, hiking, and watching documentaries.
Stefan has been working in the IT industry since 2015 and has been a strong advocate of Retool as one of their early customers. Inspired by his experience, he completed his Computer Science degree with the thesis “Implementation of xRM concepts with Retool”. In his spare time, he likes hitting the gym and indulging in his car addiction.
David has been building internal tools since the summer of 2020. Previously, he worked as a business intelligence analyst for hospital networks in the Midwest of the United States. In his free time, David plays soccer for a 5th division La Liga team, goes surfing, and listens to podcasts.
Kelly finished her PhD in Environmental Geochemistry, and later worked in research labs in Austria and Switzerland. She now owns part of a community-centered business in Graz, Austria where she helps with web design in her free time.
Adam has worked as a 3rd Level supporter, Project Manager and QA technician for different companies in Asia and Europe which gives him an overview of software and the databases that drives them.
Tobias specialized in machine learning during his Master's in Computer Science and has previously worked as a full-stack developer at a German deep tech startup. He's now transferring these skill into the internal tool space. After work, you can find him playing volleyball, practicing Portuguese, or planning his next trip.
Milan has 8 years of experience in the IT industry as a sales engineer and market analyst, where he worked with JS & SQL for data manipulation and analysis on platforms such as Tableau, Salesforce & Hubspot. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family.
Guilherme is a full-stack developer who has previously worked in the financial services industry. He’s a tech enthusiast with a wide range of personal interests in the online space. He also loves sports and exercising, getting competitive in various physical activities, from working out to tennis & football.
Mitchel brings a Master’s of Computer Science and experience developing mobile applications to the internal tools space. In his free time, he enjoys tinkering with carpentry projects, motorcycles, and everything in between.
Bron has spent the majority of her career managing and leading corporate events for leadership teams within major financial institutions. Now based in Barcelona, she takes on a more generalist role, collaborating across operations, business development projects, and ad-hoc events, ensuring smooth execution and strategic alignment.
